Thanks to all your support, we have come to a tentative agreement with Kroger. Our team of Kroger workers who have led negotiations with the company are prepared to unanimously recommend a new contract proposal to our membership.
Thanks to this new development, the rallies planned for Friday, November 3rd are CANCELED. Together, we took action to make our voices heard – and it worked.
This would not have been possible without your help. We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of support. So many of our customers, friends and neighbors like you took the time to join us at a rally, sign a petition, write a letter to Kroger, or even just honk in support while driving by. We cannot overstate how important your support has been to our efforts.
Over the next few days, we are turning our attention to mobilizing our members to attend contract meetings on Monday, November 6, where everyone will have an opportunity to thoroughly review the proposed contract, get answers to their questions, and cast their vote on whether or not to ratify the new contract proposal.
The fight for a Better Kroger is not over. We will continue the push to make Kroger a better place to work, a better place to shop, and a better grocery store for our community. And we know we can count on your support.
